Biographical Info Josephine is the founder of Josie’s Ideal Weight and Health Management program, based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Before starting this program, Josephine worked at different levels of nursing. First as Registered Nurse and Midwife in the rural areas of Botswana. Later she was a nurse educator for about fifteen years. After that, she became a full-time researcher with different organizations in Botswana and Canada. Josephine has worked internationally. In addition to working in Botswana and Canada, she led research projects in the United Kingdom and Australia. Josephine has worked in specialized areas of HIV/AIDS, long- term care, public health, and with people with disabilities. Josephine’s education includes Registered Nursing from Institute of Health Sciences, Botswana; Midwifery from Institute of Health Sciences, Botswana; Bachelor of Education in Nursing from University of Botswana; Master of Public Health from University of Wollongong, Australia; and Master of Science from University of Calgary, Canada. Josephine works with a team of health care professionals in the area of nutrition and health reform. Outside work, Josephine likes walking, hiking, and helping others to achieve their personal goals.
