Jayne Bullen

Jayne Bullen MBA, Managing Director & Co-Founder: Nutrition Network

Managing Director

Jayne Bullen is a globally experienced healthcare strategist, executive leader, and advocate for transforming human health through collaboration, education, and systems change. She is the CEO, Director, and Co-Founder of Nutrition Network, a leading international platform training healthcare professionals in therapeutic nutrition.

Following an 11-year tenure as Chief Operating Officer of The Noakes Foundation, Jayne played a pivotal role in advancing research, education, and public health initiatives. She co-founded Eat Better South Africa, a groundbreaking community-based program addressing food insecurity and metabolic health, and later served as its board chair.

Originally trained in marketing, international relations, and business strategy, Jayne began her career in global research and policy. This included pan-European work on food and marketing regulations to children, as well as healthcare governance in the EU. During this time, she became increasingly aware of the imbalance between commercial research investment and funding directed toward human health—an insight that catalyzed her transition into the metabolic health space.

Today, she brings together her expertise in research systems, brand, policy, and large-scale implementation to build innovative education platforms and collaborative networks aimed at addressing the root causes of chronic disease and driving systems change.

Beyond her executive work, Jayne is deeply committed to the integration of movement and mind-body practices in health and human language. She is a certified coach, Advanced Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner, and conscious dance teacher, passionately advocating for the role of somatic, body based awareness in healing and resilience.

Jayne holds an MBA as a Chevening Scholar from the University of Leeds, where her research focused on the regulation of food marketing to children. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Systems Change and Social Impact from the Bertha Centre at the University of Cape Town.

At the time Prof Noakes was starting to advocate for a low carbohydrate lifestyle, and this helped Neville to investigate the science more fully, and ultimately led to him using the lifestyle for his patients with diabetes and other Non-communicable diseases. He has seen patients reverse their diabetes, and has recently been the lead physician in a lifestyle trial attempting to find novel methods to reverse diabetes in patients. He is a lifelong learner and continues to research methods and lifestyles which would help his patients treat their chronic diseases with minimal medication.
