With a vision and commitment to offer the best LCHF educational support for our members and share emerging science and information in the field, the Nutrition Network (NN) has launched the latest in our online training series – Doctors Desk, free mini-courses delivered in bite-sized video lectures, covering an array of different topics and presented by our Medical Team.
Each mini-course dives into a different topic, adding value to the skillset NN members have acquired through our professional trainings, and forming a part of their LCHF practitioner toolbox.
To date, two mini-courses have been released and are open for free enrolment:
- An Introduction to Type 2 Diabetes Management – presented by Dr Neville Wellington
- Immunity & COVID-19 – presented by Dr Hassina Kajee
Upcoming topics will include Effective History Taking, Alzheimer’s as Type 3 Diabetes, and, today, NN has released Nutrition & The Immune System, presented by Dr Neville Wellington & Tamzyn Murphy RD, MSc (Dist). The latest mini-course discusses immunity, specifically as it pertains to the novel Coronavirus and those who are ‘at-risk’; namely population groups who suffer from diabetes and obesity. The team presents useful nutritional tips we can use to safeguard ourselves against the possible effects of the virus.
