STEP 1
Complete the Advisor Training:
- Advisor Training & Essential Coaching Skills
Please note, if you are a medical practitioner, you are not required to do the Advisor Training and may enrol in the Medical SMHP bundle here.
STEP 2
Complete the Ketogenic: The Science and Practice of Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction
STEP 3
You are then required to complete the 3 modules of the advanced course ‘LCHF In Clinical Practice’:
- Module 1: Scientific and Evolutionary Evidence
- Module 2: LCHF for Practical Medical Applications
- Module 3: Prescribing LCHF in Clinical Practice
STEP 4
And finally, you are required to complete the Ethics training.
STEP 5
Over and above that you need 60 CMHE credits from an approved provider. If you use Nutrition Network modules for some of these CMHE credits they cannot come from any of the core modules mentioned above. So, for instance, the 10 credits from the Reversing Diabetes module would count towards your 60 but the credits from the Ethics module would not.
The last two virtual LowCarbUSA events (https://www.lowcarbusa.org/low-carb-events/) still have CMHEs available and will easily get you over your requirement.

When does the training start and finish?
The training starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online training – you decide when you start and when you finish.
Do I have to be online at a specific time?
No. You can work through the training content completely at your own pace. You don’t need to be online at a certain time and you are welcome to complete the lectures in your own time.
How long do I have access to the training?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this training for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the training?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund. Please note that a refund will only be issued if 30% or less of the Training has been completed.

What kind of content is the curriculum?
The training is made up of video lectures with supporting documents such as the speaker’s PowerPoint presentation, reference list, and short feedback forms to test your learning.
Does the training provide a certification?
Yes, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion at the end of the training and you will be listed on our website’s Wall of Practitioners.
Will there be any support from the lecturers or Nutrition Network medical team during the training?
Definitely! You will be provided with a link to join our private online Community for members – this is moderated daily by our experts. Here you can ask course-related questions, keep updated with the latest low-carb science, troubleshoot difficult cases, or just network and engage with fellow members.
