From Black Friday 2026, every course purchase funds a full scholarship for a future doctor, healthcare worker or health coach. Applications open in January 2027.
Cape Town, 5 November 2026. Nutrition Network, a globally accredited online education platform specializing in metabolic health and Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction (TCR), announced a transformational new pledge to support its origin as a social enterprise today announced Each One, Teach One initiative, a new pledge rooted in its origins as a social enterprise.
Beginning with its upcoming annual Black Friday give back event and continuing into the future, for every course sold, Nutrition Network will be pledging and funding a scholarship in full for a next-generation medical student, healthcare worker or health coach, directly bridging our professional education with real-world impact.
Some of the people best placed to change healthcare in their communities have never had the chance to access our training pathways. Each One, Teach One puts evidence-based education in metabolic medicine and clinical nutrition in the hands of future doctors, medical students, nurses, dietitians and coaches, where it is needed most and currently missing.
“Education is the single most powerful catalyst for reforming healthcare systems,” said Jayne Bullen, CEO of Nutrition Network. “Through Each One, Teach One, every practitioner who invests in their learning with us will also fund the education of a rising or underserved learner. From early 2027, we’ll invite applicants from underserved communities and educational spaces around the world, and walk with them from foundational online courses to advanced live certification, so they can take this work back to their own communities. We’ll also match learners with experienced professionals as mentors, and we invite our practitioners and members to get involved by giving their time or helping bring this work into tertiary education and underserved communities.”
How it works
- One for one: Every course purchase from Black Friday onwards funds one full scholarship for a next-generation practitioner, so 100 courses sold means 100 scholarships. Places are awarded in intake rounds, with applications opening in January 2027.
- Empowering Future Leaders: Scholarships will focus on medical students, junior doctors, nurses, dietitians, allied healthcare professionals, and community health coaches passionate about metabolic health. Applicants from underserved communities and experienced researchers are also eligible.Â
- A Course of Their Choice: Each scholar chooses any Nutrition Network online course and gets access to evidence-based coursework, clinical tools and our international practitioner network.Â
- Connecting Community: The program creates a bridge between established healthcare professionals and the next generation of practitioners shaping the future of medicine through community, mentoring and peer support.Â
“I think about the nurse in a small clinic, or the medical student who simply can’t afford the course. They’re the ones who’ll change how their communities are cared for. We’re proud that every course our students take now helps one of them get started,” said Candice Egnos, COO of Nutrition Network.
Get involved
Nutrition Network is inviting its practitioners and members to take part by offering their time, as mentors or by helping take the work into universities and underserved communities. Scholars’ stories will be shared as they progress.
