Training Outline
STEP 1
Nutritional Medicine: The Basic Sciences is a pre-requisite for candidates applying for the Nutrition Network Medical Practitioner Certification. This training will ensure that you have grasped the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic action of therapeutic carbohydrate restriction (TCR).
STEP 2 – BASIC TRAINING
Ketogenic: The Science and Practice of Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction
This training will give you an overview of the history, science, context and most common therapeutic applications of therapeutic carbohydrate restriction (TCR).
STEP 3 – ADVANCED TRAINING
LCHF in Clinical Practice Training which consists of 3 modules:
- Module 1: Evolutionary and Scientific Evidence
- Module 2: LCHF for Practical Medical Applications
- Module 3: Prescribing LCHF in Clinical Practice
OR
Professional Training in LCHF for Dietitians, which covers the same topics as LCHF in Clinical Practice, with the addition of tools and techniques specific to dietitians’ practice.
STEP 4 – SPECIALISED ELECTIVE TRAINING
Three Elective modules must be completed:
- Ethics Training
- Diabetes Reversal Training
- Obesity: Risk & Reversal Training
- Neurology: Keto for Migraines, Epilepsy & Alzheimer’s Disease
- Nutritional Paradigms for Treating Chronic Disease
- Advisor Training *
- Sports Nutrition
- Addictive Eating
- Women’s Health Training
Please note, that the Advisor Training will count as 1 Elective if it is taken in addition to one other Professional Training listed in Step 1.

When does the training start and finish?
The training starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online training – you decide when you start and when you finish.
Do I have to be online at a specific time?
No. You can work through the training content completely at your own pace. You don’t need to be online at a certain time and you are welcome to complete the lectures in your own time.
How long do I have access to the training?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this training for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the training?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund. Please note that a refund will only be issued if 30% or less of the Training has been completed.

What kind of content is the curriculum?
The training is made up of video lectures with supporting documents such as the speaker’s PowerPoint presentation, reference list, and short feedback forms to test your learning.
Does the training provide a certification?
Yes, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion at the end of the training and you will be listed on our website’s Wall of Practitioners.
Will there be any support from the lecturers or Nutrition Network medical team during the training?
Definitely! You will be provided with a link to join our private online Community for members – this is moderated daily by our experts. Here you can ask course-related questions, keep updated with the latest low-carb science, troubleshoot difficult cases, or just network and engage with fellow members.
