2021 has started strong! This year, we at Nutrition Network are shifting boundaries by hosting the first annual World Nutrition Summit (WNS) virtually on 4,5 and 6 March 2021. This event will unite internationally-known medical and nutrition experts in an attempt to reframe the role that nutrition plays in health, explored in the context of multiple perspectives. 

Our expert speaker line up boasts a list of international experts including Prof Tim Noakes, Dr Jason Fung, Dr Mark Cucuzzella, Dr Neville Wellington, Dr Hassina Kajee, Dr Angela Stantin, Ivor Cummins, Dr Jen Unwin, Dr David Unwin to name but a few. 

Some of the confirmed topics include Nutrition and Cancer, presented by Dr Jason Fung, Mythology in Preventive Cardiology presented by Dr Bret Scher, Low Carb Strategies in the Age of Viral Panic by Ivor Cummins, Metabolic Psychiatry for Mental Health Disorders by Dr Georgia Ede, Protein & Renal Health by Dr Jose Neto.

Another two formidable speakers are Dr Nasha Winters, author of Metabolic Approach to Cancer, and Dr Angela Stanton, author of The Migraine Challenge. Addressing the health challenges impacting Africa, Dr Jonah Mulatya from Mulatya Memorial Hospital in Kenya will be speaking about the nutritional reversal of chronic diseases in a rural African setup.

The event also offers exclusive break-out sessions for both members and the general public, Q&A sessions with select speakers, networking opportunities amongst attendees and exclusive attendee discounts.

We are inviting abstract submissions relating to reversing metabolic diseases through nutrition that specifically address the various nutrition and health challenges that are currently impacting Africa and the world. Abstract submissions are due Friday, 21 January and must be mailed to [email protected] for consideration.
